Closer to heaven

The photo shows the 2000 year old cemetery at Sagada, Echo Valley in Mt. Province Philippines. This is another tourist spot here in our country. They bury their dead in a log and hang them with ropes and strong wires in this.limestone cliff. The reason for this is their belief that the spirit will be closer to heaven. The higher the coffin hanged show that the relatives cherishes them.most. Amazing don't you think? Image from Google I have seen this place and it is so awesome.

Yes, I heard some people here in CAR. (Cordillera Administrative Region) , made their backyard as cemetery of their own family.

I haven't been to Sagada, heck I have never been to Baguio either and to think I was born and spent 20 years in the Philippines before I moved in the US! There is a part of me that regrets not exploring our country first before bidding it goodbye for good. Someday though!

Yes and a long one too but you can see it from afar.if you don't wish to go walking
