Is Antivirus Essential for Us?

I Guess We all need Antivirus in our devices like Smartphones, Laptops and personal computers and they are so much important for us. There are many Antivirus which does secure our system as well so that we can pay without any issues and can pay safely as well and there are many options available in market so we can get them at competitive prices as well.
What are your views about it? Is Antivirus Essential for Us? Which Your prefer? Please share.

Yes I think so, I am using Anti virus ..it's "Super Cleaner" app.

I think it is necessary to install virus software. I often use Kingsoft Antiviral software.

Yes I always have my antivirus in laptop but I would like to have a pre antivirus installed browser. Hopefully that browser will soon be available.

@thesupersingh computer programmes by different names are entering the market only to improve their business. Stick to one. The next one enters with a different name with more features.
