My husband is very smart and very handy. . . and very lazy. He can do pretty much anything that needs to be done in a house. He installed sheetrock, he did our roof, he installed a bathroom in the basement where the "stuff" has to get pumped UP to the sewer line, etc. He can do pretty much anything. His father painted our front room, hallway, and kitchen like 3 weeks ago. My husband's job was to paint the trim. He finally got himself to do like a tiny bit of it last weekend. He was supposed to continue today but decided that it was a "beautiful day" and we should go to the bar. It is supposed to rain tomorrow so hopefully he will wake up and just do what he has to do. I normally wouldn't be opposed to painting and/or helping with home improvement stuff but with my dominant shoulder being such a disaster, it is pretty much out of the question. I applied to adopt a gray tabby kitten a couple of weeks ago. My vet reference was fine, my personal reference was excellent. . . but I couldn't set up a home inspection because this place was torn apart. It still is.

You need to place paint brush in his hand.

Must be frustrating waiting to get the painting finished and your room back to order. Hope you'll still be able to adopt that kitty

I really like to paint and I have a lot to do here but I also want to get the rental ready so I will let mine go.
