Finally tried my hands on my acquired skill

I have been trying to teach myself how to sew - I even have a complete set of threads and needles and other sewing paraphernalia that came with the sewing machine I purchased about 3-4 years ago. So far, all I have learned is how to properly hem my jeans, which is big plus given that I am only 5 feet tall. I know stores can hem these for me, but I would rather just do it myself. There were lots of trials and errors before I manage to perfect the hemming like how I want it.
