Do Those Branded Cold Drinks Quench Thirst?

Though the mercury is rising government schools have opened. Perhaps one more week of summer holidays for the children would have been good. Monsoon was supposed to arrive in Eastern India by 10 June but it seems it got delayed on the way. Rains will definitely bring down the temperature. Until then I am pouring water on myself twice a day and drinking, drinking, drinking water! Somehow I find those branded cold drinks don't quench thirst! What do you do to beat the heat?

I often drink hot water with lemon. Sometimes I just cool the boiled water and drink it.

I also drink water, it's the only thing that is good to drink, no sugar, no calories.

I am preferring only buttermilk. I have also kept some FANTA bottles in the fridge. They are meant for change only. They can not quench my thirst.

I only drink water just to beat the heat. I guess water is the only drink we can have to quench our thirst, even juices wont help just water.
