You Will Pay By Lisa Jackson

The author, Lisa Jackson, is one of my favorite and I have read everything by her. Typically, her books make me want to keep reading, to not put the book down. However, this book didn't give me that feeling. It goes between the past and the present throughout the book, more so in the beginning. I still enjoyed the book even though I didn't have a problem stopping to do other things and I do recommend it. Four missing people at the same time and from the same place. What happened to them 20 years ago remains a mystery until a jaw bone is found close the camp where they were last seen. Speculations run rampant until it can be ID'd. Are people really seeing the ghost of one of the missing? What will happen to the camp counselors now when their lies are brought to light? Will any of them be able to go on with their lives when the facts are found? Have you read anything by this author? If so, what was it and did you like it? Picture from Goodreads.

I haven't read any of her books, but I saw a book called "You don't want to know" on Goodreads. Do you know that one? I am thinking about reading that one, but I don't know any of her books.

I haven't read that book yet, but I will definitely look for it at the library when I go in a couple of days. If you do read it, let me know how you liked it. I love her books. They are very good and I have a hard time putting them down.

@morgoodie I will try to find it next time I visit the library. I have to return some books at the end of the month and I always try to find something new to read. I think that the description of this book sounds interesting, and I hope that I will be able to find it.

@Porcospino It does sound interesting. I hope I find it as well. I am almost finished with the ones I need to take back by the 30th so I figured I would go on Tuesday my day off. I love finding new things to read.

I don't know this author but I am the kind of person that will lose interest in a book quickly if it takes too long to get into the storyline. It has to be exciting quite early on to keep me going .. I realise how childlike that sounds

@morgoodie I don't read enough although I have a kindle and I'm thinking of downloading a few books as my sister does that and says they are so cheap.

@sprite1950 You can even find free books. That is what I do. I get an email from freebooksy.com everyday with a list of free books. You just check the genres that you are interested in and they send you what books you can get free. They may not be by well known authors but I have found a few good ones that were unknown to me.

No I am like that too with books. But I really like this author so I kept going. It was interesting but sometimes it seemed to lose me and then it would pick back up again. Not enough action. Her other books are a little different than this one.
