I have thought about this a lot, and wonder why the term doomsday is used. I can understand prepping for bad winters, such as losing power, and having enough food to see you through. I really liked the show, but it always made me think about the end of the world. Their tenacity was amazing.

Also for me this show was very interesting, and the word doomsday is used for the people who believe the "end" is coming for the all of us. I have my beliefs and my doubts on this topic and it is interesting to hear what everyone else believes. What do you think?

I never watched the show but I used to know a few people who were always preparing for the end of the world.

@popciclecold My step sister's dad was one and any time we would go to his house it would just be filled with preserved food and generators and all types of things. It was insane.

I have never seen such a program. Will it make us very pessimistic about the future if we often have such a program? I like positive things.

Yes it is a good show to watch, but I'm not into that kinda stuff when it comes to the end of the world, if and when it comes there is nothing that we can do about it, and maybe you will be one to be taken home with the Lord if you are that kinda person.

That's what I used to wonder about, because the only preparation for that is salvation. Oh, I do believe in the rapture.
