A Naperville Police Officer gets rewarded for saving a child

Naperville Police Officer Sergeant Anthony Mannino was recently awarded the Life Saving Award for his actions of rescuing a young boy who was running on Route 59 in suburban Chicago last month. Mannino was driving in his police auto on Route 59 when he saw a young boy who managed to sneak out of his mother's watchful eye. Mannino who is himself a father of two identical twins, stopped his auto and picked up the boy. The mother of the young boy who ran away from his home is a neighbor of the police officer. The mother of the child was very thankful that the officer did the right deal by stopping his auto and save the boy from getting hurt.
