Worst Poem Ever

How can you write the worst poem ever?
It must not be witty or clever.
It must sound awful.
It must not rhyme.
It must be barren
Of dimension and time.
How can you write the worse poem ever?
It must exist from a faulty lever.
It must give putrid a winning name.
It must put the words
To unspeakable shame.
How can you write the worse poem ever?
It must put the reader to sleep.
It must be avoided by lambs and sheep.
It must be awkward.
It must make no sense.
It must be void
Of structure and tense.
One day I shall write the worse poem ever.
I will be proud of this difficult task.
However, after I've written this awful poem,
I might want to cover my face with a mask.

I have written a few of those and then scrapped them afterwards so they never saw the light of day.
That is a very good poem that you have written there actually.

Not all my poems have been wonderful. I've had a few lemons too.

Me too and I scrap them when I feel I canĀ“t do what I want to do.
Its on the spur of the moment for me to be able to write and I cannot sit there with a pen in my hand all day long thinking of what to write so I give it up or mull over it as I am doing other things and then go back and write it works for me that way.
Good luck with yours and hope they are not lemons.

I am enjoying your worst poem sir. Ha ha. I love to read poetry and to write as well but mine is kinda serious stuff. Anyway, I've posted one poem in my latest discussion, may I invite you to read it too. Thanks.

Pretty funny with a side order of sad. Rhyming with no sense of grace makes a rather unpalatable poem.
