I have blind grandfather, he's been blind, I believe, for almost, less or more a decade now. But despite of his situation, he still manage to exercise, clean his own space (small), eat by himself (we just prepare his foods. He asked for my help when he can't do it on his own. I cut his nails, buy his needs etc. He amaze me everyday

Hats off to your grandfather, my friend. He does not let his disability get in the way to make himself fit and not a burden to you all.

Yes, he is not really a burden. We dont want him to send to some home for the aged, when we could take care of him. I think that is not right and he would feel horrible for sure.

@chicnthin I do not believe in Home for the Aged actually. If the family can take care of their elderly parents, then why send there?

@mlgen1037 thats is what I thought so. I was talking about those people who sent their love ones there, when they could just take care of them.

Very loving for you to do all those things! My father could not see much in the last few years of his life. It was my great pleasure to be his eyes.

It is a pleasure to us to be their eyes. As long as I can help him, I will gladly do. Amazing that he is still seeing light despite of his condition, he is very hopeful.
