Some friends of ours bought my Mom a power-lift chair when she started to find it hard to get up and down.
Mom is gone, now, and I asked the folks who bought it if they'd like it back, and they said to just sell it if I wanted.
So, I've finally gotten around to doing that (or at least, putting it up for sale). I put it up on Facebook Marketplace, as I don't really care for Craig's List so much, though if the chair doesn't sell on FM I may go over to CL. There are a few men I could ask to come over to be here should someone ask to come see it--I know my brother doesn't want some stranger coming to the house with me here by myself, and Angel isn't that "threatening".
I could certainly use the money, though when I looked the chair up on the company's website, it didn't cost as much as I thought it did. No biggie. Money's just money, no matter how much it is.

Those chairs are great and I'm sure someone will scoop it up. I don't blame you for not wanting to be there alone when someone comes to look at it. Smart to be safe. Good luck with the sale

My parents' best friends gave us a chair like this. It was her mother's and they were cleaning out her house after she had passed. They knew that my husband was going to have hip replacement surgery eventually and figured that it would be helpful. It was so incredibly helpful for him for the first 2 weeks after his surgery. He slept in it and it helped him to get up and sit down. He never would have survived without it.
