Hi mylotters. Rainy season has finally arrived in Mumbai. It looks so beautiful as everything is green. The place where we stay is surrounded by mountains and a lake so the view is surreal. Mumbai rains are very unexpected. One minute it rains heavily and then it stops abruptly like a "bathroom shower". Rains do bring with it dirt but the moist smell of earth after rain is very soothing. Also at the time of rains one can enjoy having tea or coffee along with hot fritters. It's an ideal snack for monsoon. Children are happy to go to school in raincoats and umbrella. Only people who are working face struggle as they have to travel through muddy water at times and save themselves from landing up in a open manhole as there are many in Mumbai.
