Making Maggi for breakfast today. Though the advertisement says 2-minutes It can never be prepared in two minutes. Love it because it can be prepared in a variety of ways. Maggi was banned in our country some time back but am happy its now available. Anyone else loves noodles like me?

I like to eat noodles for snack, not for breakfast.

Had it been a healthy choice, I would have taken it as my daily snacks or breakfast. I love it but restrict the intake owing to health reasons. I love hot soupy Maggie on a rainy day. I take it once in a month and relish it.

Why was Maggie banned?
I'm sure you don't know that Maggi is the surname of the founder of the company! :-)
(Wikipedia) "The company originated in Switzerland in 1884, when Julius Maggi took over his father's mill. He quickly became a pioneer of industrial food production, aiming to improve the nutritional intake of worker families. Maggi was the first to bring protein-rich legume meals to the market, and followed up with a ready-made soup based on legume meals in 1886. After that Julius Maggi introduced bouillon concentrates, first in capsules, then in cubes. In 1897, Julius Maggi founded the company Maggi GmbH in Singen, Germany."

Maggi was banned because they said there was too much of MSG in it. But later the ban was lifted. Did not know the history behind Maggi. Thanks for the info. Below is link of a discussion I had started when Maggi was banned.
There is a ban on Maggi noddles in India and I am missing it. Have not been able to enjoy noodles after that. Have not been able to adjust to the taste of...

I know Maggi, but not that version for noodles, you are talking. Noodles are very similar to spaghetti, but I've ever tasted them.
