Someone who I know is being constantly bogged down with advice "Why don't you settle down" They want her to get married,
She confided in me about this issue. "Why" she said "they are asking me to settle down" She was wondering why one should marry and settle down why not up?
I had no answer. Do you have an answer to this?

Ha! i thought its a more serious discussion but yeah you meant to be answered why not up but down?! Hmm i don't know?! I guess when you settle down, you put your guards down, you bring down your defenses. When it is up, its like building a wall in between relationships. hehehe

(Haha) That's an unconventional thought. People really advise many to settle down, get married, start a family. But I really do think that's not settling down. It's settling up. Settling up in a way that you grow your family. You move them upwards towards prosperity and you share your wisdom to your children in a way that they'd grow up. Maybe what's wrong is saying "Settle down" and maybe we ought to change it to "Settle up" which basically means move forward, eh? Because when we eventually settle down, we'd be six feet under the ground.

I knew it. A bit of analysis shows that marrying does not mean settling down
