Happy Sunday and Happy Father's Day!
Holidays + My Emotions = Emotional Eating
For those who celebrate the US Holidays you know what I am going through if you have lost your parents. Honestly, Mother's Day and Father's Day are so difficult for me, but I try to be strong for my family. Handling my emotions have always been a struggle, but when I had to add the grieving process in the mix, I believe it got worse for me to handle. I am determined to overcome this illness and plan for success each day.
Here's some ways to help overcome Emotional Eating:
1. Plan your meals and snacks ahead of time.
2. Track your food and drinks.
3. Concentrate on portion control and measure your food.
4. Drink a glass of water before each meal.
5. Write in your journal.
6. Exercise or go for a walk.
7. Therapy sessions or a support group.
8. Talk to family member or a friend.
9. Read an inspirational book or positive affirmations.
Good Luck!
