My 10 month old daughter loves bananas. She didn't like mashed apple that much. She is 10 months old. What are the other fruits I can try for her safely?

She's had potatoes. I'll look out for sweet potatoes. They're not easy to get here.

Fruits are good for babies. but then it would be better to have a consultation with a pediatrician or dietician before feeding any fruits to your babies as there are many factors those are to be considered before feeding them! Thanks!

What are some of those factors? I haven't heard anyone having allergy to most common fruits.

When I was a kid, besides banana and apples, I was fed avocado and chesa ( egg fruit).

When my son was little we would blend strawberries and bananas together and freeze it. Once we could add yogurt to it we would make a smoothie for him. He also liked peaches, pairs. Apples are good as a warm apple sauce and you can mix Berries like strawberries, or blueberries. At 10 months babies do better with you led feeding them which means small bite piece they can feed themselves. Try that instead of mashing or blending good. If cooked long enough it’ll be come tender or cut into small enough pieces.

Thanks for the tips. She eats the more solid food herself. Bananas too she tries herself, but makes a mess which is cute.

@pitstop yeah they tend to do that. Wait till you do pasta and sauce it gets real messy then or cake.

You may try mango, orange, and papaya too. Be careful in giving citrus fruit juices she might have acidity reaction. Be watchful in introducing foods to baby.

Thanks. Peeled oranges sound like a good idea. We've got a few mangoes today - will try that.

I think mashed potatoes, green leafy vegetables will help a 10 months old to grow much healthier, but about fruits I really don`t think it will help them not unless it`s rich in vitamin C

It's hard to think of other fruits for infant. I mashed carrots though for my kids before.
