I think we all have some disagreements in life as well, Most of us work, and even in our families as well, we have some disagreements between our siblings and even with our parents as well and this does not mean that we wanna kick them out of our life as blocking someone on mylot means as if we are kicking someone out of our life.
I always feel the option to ignore is there always and we can utilize that unless the person abuses us and can hurt us.
What are your views about it? Why You Block Someone On Mylot? Do you think of ignoring someone a better option than blocking on mylot? Please Share.

The ONLY people I have blocked so far on MyLot are irrational Trump haters. I just cannot engage with them in any reasonable way. That being said, I do not like to block people. So when someone is speaking irrationally about Trump, which is most people around here, I simply ignore the post or the comment. It''s easier that way if I am not to expect an intelligent response.

Same here, whether I vote for a President or not I refuse to bash him, this is my country and people don`t need to be hating because they did not get their way.

@JolietJake It only bothers me when one chooses to deny outright accomplishments or make unfounded accusations. Even Obama did a couple of good things, and as much as he was obviously damaging to the country, one has to deal in facts, not delusions. That's where I draw the line. It should be pointed out that Trump is not a politician.

I blocked someone only once on here because she was being rude to others and calling them names. That kind of behavior is immature and not good for this site. Rather then let it bother me I chose to block her so I won't have to read her posts or interact with her. I like positive energy here at mylot as we have enough negative things in our lives as it is without having to deal it with online as well.

So far, I haven't blocked anyone. If I block someone, he must be the one I hate very much.

I dont think ignoring someone is a better option than blocking someone because when you are ignoring someone you are hurting their feelings intentionally. When blocking someone it really means that due to some reasons whatsoever that person doesnt want to communicate with you anymore. World is very big, so its not a big deal. However, I personally feel one should communicate instead of using both the options.
