Sometimes I think about it that why most of the websites where we are, Are paying in USD and not in any other countries currency.
Of course we have few International websites which pays in pounds and Euros as well but still most of the websites, Even if they are from Asia or other parts of the world, They pay in USD only
And I feel this is because of the tag of the most popular and biggest currency of the world.
What are your views about it? Are you aware of the Reason why Most websites pays in USD? Please share.

It is because USD is the "global currency of choice". I think it is better that way.

Yes and USD is widely accepted due to United States' dominance of the world in last 150 years in Economic and Military growth, trade and scientific inventions.
Also most of the major International Money associations like IMF and World Bank are based in United States.

@thesupersingh
I would think most places pay in dollars because a lot of places accept dollars. I get paid by Pay Pal and it goes into dollars and shekels which is the currency of our money here in Israel.

I guess a lot of these websites might be based in the US. USD seems to be the most accepted currency online. I guess it would be weird to have the currency of a country with a small population on those websites. It just wouldn't make a lot of sense, USD speaks to more people.

In international trade not all types of currencies have legitimacy and can be widely used. Developing countries for example, rarely use local currency for international transaction affairs because their currency is considered volatile (unstable). Because of that, they use relatively strong money like dollar.
