At the office where I work, we were talking about the shortest we had ever cut our hair. I had once shaved my hair to 1/8 inch. They couldn't believe that and said they'd give me $50 to shave my head now. Normally I would have done it. But it is cold outside now!
So would you shave your head for $50? Even if it was cold outside?

I don't know. If I shave my head it's going to be in a moment of anger most likely. I don't think $50 is enough of a bribe. It took me a really long time for my hair to get this long.

I'm like that too... I've had every color and hair cut imaginable... all based on a whim.

Nobody ever offered me $50 to shave my head. However, when I was 16 I took a summer job at a fish factory where I had to clean and gut fish for freezing. I cant remember how it started but as I recall somebody starting daring everyone to eat fish. And I said for how much. They took up a collection among them and it was about $35 (this was back in 1952). It sounded good I am a sucker for dares. When they saw me do it they almost upchucked their lunch. Actually it wasn't bad....it was a whiting. Of course, this was long before sushi was popular because the US had only a few years earlier ended the war with Japan.

I don't know if I'd ever have been able to eat raw fish... but I have eaten crickets and mealworms when I was younger.
I used to not even be able to stand the smell of fish. But now after volunteering in the kitchen preparing herring, sardines, and squid for sea lions and seals, I can't even smell fish anymore.
I bet you couldn't really smell fish for a long time after that job huh?

My hair is down past my butt...I'd shave my head, I mean, COMPLETELY, for a price, but not $50. I'd do it to raise money for something like cancer research, and eventually, that's what I plan to do. BUT, I would have a set amount that would have to be raised or no deal. (It's not that I'm that attached to my hair, I'd just want to raise as much money as I possibly could!)

How much would it take for you to shave your head? Or would no amount of money be enough? (and realistically, you know there is SOME amount of money... I mean, for a million dollars hair grows back... and only an actress would make millions of dollars for having hair and less without it... and possibly, they'd still make the same because they could get a wig)
