Most enjoyable PC game?

What was the most enjoyable PC game you've played lately? For me it was old game one of the X-man series... :) I wish to find another interesting and fun game to play when I have the time for it.

I don't play the PC game for quite a long time. I like playing it but I just don't have free time to do so. Besides, I am afraid I will be addicted to it and therefore I quit to play it. In the past I liked playing the Sims, The Sim City and Red Alert.
