I'm not gonna go into detail, but I never got to be a kid, I had to grow up very quick. Dealing with trying to figure myself out small, never getting to play or have fun like other kids I watched do things with there families and thinking at 10, wish I had them for a family. why we sometimes get dealt a rotten hand with family. Father was an alcoholic and very strict, raised us like we were his little marines.

Thank you so much, it was hard living in the 60's and 70's..they didn't care then if you were being abused, cops would say sorry we can't get into this, and they would leave

Hi Kristina. No child deserves to be treated badly. Each child has the right to play, learn and have fun. I am sorry that you have to go thru that and that you have to grow fast and leave your childhood behind.
