It has been a good day

We did get rain overnight. Not a lot. We also had soft rain falling all day. I did not have to water my plants outdoors. Today I worked on organizing and sweeping out my shed. I had come up with an idea for the inside to pretty it up and maybe help insulate it as well. My late aunt liked to paint as a hobby. Nothing spectacular, and all probably learned by following along on television shows. After she died my older sister somehow ended up with lots of her paintings. Lots of ducks, deer and eagles mostly. When I moved my sister I was "given" these paintings. not exactly my taste, but I hate to throw them away or even donate them to a thrift shop. I am putting them up on the walls of my shed. It will be nice. I may put some insulation behind them as I am attaching them to the studs. That got me started looking through all my fabric that I have out there. And patterns. And projects. I have three quilt tops in various degrees of completion, but I really do not know what I am doing. I am going to pack them up and go get @Marsha32 to teach me step by step. These were pieces done by my mom, my dad's mom, and hey, even some stuff done by me. I had to quit work so I could start working on some of these things and enjoying them.
