I think when someone hears about India then it think about many things like poverty, population explosion, terrorist attacks, Kashmir Issue, Vast land, Place of Different Religions, cultures, Foods, languages and Most popular in Doctors and Scientists as well. India is also Rich in Agriculture produce and many products are exported to different countries. Britishers invaded India only because India was Rich and has lots of wealth and spices which have most demand in European market. They looted all the money and know popular alll around the world as most richest country and Queen and King and prince. Anyway, its a different topic which i will discuss some other time. So I like to know, What you think About India, both pros and cons? Please Share.

Unfortunately in the name of art bad side of India has been depicted by many people in many movies which is not the actual India. There is poverty, yes, that is there is there in every country including some parts of US. There is illiteracy, that is also there globally in many countries. But if we look at the brighter side India is having rich culture and heritage. It is a secular country which gives equal importance to all religions and it is coutry with unity in diversity.. Physical features of the country is excellent as we have mountains, plains, deserts, Seas, platues with three distinct seasons with ample of natural sunlight available in all the three seasons. India is leading in the World in many fields like Movie making, Education, Medical field, Space Science, IT sector, Herbal medicine, Milk production etc. We have Noble Laureates , Miss Worlds and many eminent scientists from india whose contribution can never be forgotten! Thus in nutshell in India is a progressing Country and it will be a Super Power within few decades to come! Thanks dear friend!

I think that there is terrible dirt on streets and poverty, while the richest house in the world is in India as well... So terrible poverty is next to incredible richness. Stupid rules like castes do not let smart people achieve anything and become successful. Too many people and noise of cars. Wierd clothes for females... fat females. If there would be more place and fewer people there, the Indians would show the world how smart they are. And your language is funny but barking, not pleasant for my ears (but my language is even worse for you). But we use some words in Russian, like "chai" (it also means "tea"), "guru" and others. And water! All the Russians whom I know had to visit Indian hospitals because of terrible intoxication. But expensive hospitals were of good quality

@thesupersingh I mean that for my ear, it doesn't sound sweet. You have many sounds like "Ch", "Sh", "Aa"... Oh, I am not interested in it much, he is more interested in my culture... I know only several words in Hindi, like "I love you," "Go away," "Thanks." Have you ever been to Chandigarh? Is it really the best place in India?

India has one greatest nun who became a saint, Mother Theresa of Calcutta. One of her quotes that I love is "It's not about how much you do but how much love you put into what you do that counts". Another one is "Give your hands to serve and your hearts to love.

We are our own enemies i guess!!! Instead of cherishing our rich heritage, culture and history as a whole, we have been fighting with our own countrymen and painting bad picture of country to the foreigners. On the positive side, we are developing in sports and science field enormously.

@thesupersingh that's true, but we should also be able to differentiate between right and wrong and not simply follow anti-social elements.

The poverty isn't a good thing as is political and religious differences but you can find that in just about any country. Any country that gives the world Aishwarya Rai-Bachan is a-okay!
