Stupid fraud calls--4 charges against me

I was out last night so I was happy that my iPhone automatically transcribed the voicemail for me when I went to listen to the message from a number that I didn't know. The message said that I currently have 4 "serious charges pending against me" and I should contact local police at that number before I am arrested. 
Just for $hits and giggles, I actually listened to the voicemail and it was a robotic message. When was the last time that someone who ACTUALLY was in trouble received a robocall?

Hey we're in the same boat!!! I have allegations against me from the IRS. As if the IRS is going to call me and have a robot tell me that I need to call them back or the police will be looking for me. Let them look. They give you a warning so you can have time to skip town!!

I get a few crank calls from the I R S and someone claiming to be working for Microsoft telling me that my computer will shut down at midnight unless I contact the number they sent me. As of the I R S, it is to inform me that I owe them money. In the case of the I R S phone call, it is a scam since the real I R S would send me a letter if I owe them money.

@NJChicaa One of their scare tactics is to tell me the police are coming to arrest me. The I R S site says they never send the police to arrest anyone for not paying their fair share.

Hi NJ. Maybe that is some kind of scam if you actually believe it and call the police. Even the police would be puzzled. Haha
