You cannot quit until you have another job lined up.

Think about it seriously first. It's not easy to find work these days. For every position there are so many applicants and every year thousands graduate from college and join the thousands others seeking work.

It is true that after certain period some job becomes monotonous. If there is other reason than do not leave this job until you get a good one.

@12014147 My suggestion is, before quitting your current job find out another one that is more suitable for you.Till then try to take interest in your current job.

I think that first you need to be sure that you're leaving to a better workplace than this one.

Hi Crimson. Welcome to mylot. Enjoy.
Find another job first before you quit your job. Goodluck.

Don't push yourself to something that will eventually break you - physically and mentally. So, if I were you, I'll quit BUT JUST after I find another job to replace the current one. :)

Hi Crimson. It's a tough position to be in when you want out. You've been given very good advice from the myLot team.
Let me offer another suggestion: Don't burn your bridges behind you.
This is something that my father always used to say. It's been a long time since I heard him make the statement but it is one I will always remember.
Basically what it means is that when you eventually leave your job, leave on good terms. You never know what may happen down the road.
You may go back or end up working with a former colleague. Paths have a way of crossing again so try to stay on friendly terms.
If nothing else, it will help to make the transition smoother and less stressful.

If you think this job is stressing you out, quit. Because your health will be compromised by it.
I experienced this before so I know the feeling.
You should take some time too before applying for a new job, to rest and feel fresh for a new job someday.
