Laundry Day

I wasn't certain I would do laundry this weekend. With my knees as bad as they were, I just wanted to rest them as much as possible so they would heal. One of the reasons why I wasn't on myLot or the computer very much yesterday.
My son called yesterday to find out if I would be doing laundry, and I told him today. The good thing is, my knees are much better. I'm not using the cane any longer, and the walker I picked up on Friday, is going back tomorrow. I no longer have any need of walking aids. 
It also means, I'll be back in the pool tomorrow.
Another reason I wasn't on the computer yesterday was to find out if I could stay away from it as long as I did. What I can tell you from that little experiment, was it was on my mind the whole time I was binge watching Smallville and enjoying the massage pad on the recliner.
I won't be here much today either, but that's because after church, I'm heading straight over to my son's to do laundry. I don't know what time I'll be getting home, but so I won't be too hungry before I eat, I've got my pot roast cooking in the crock pot.
I'll be leaving in about half an hour for church, and have no idea when I'll be back. It should be an interesting day. I just hope I don't undo all the progress with my knees with the stairs at my son's apartment.

I'm sorry about your knees but glad to hear they are getting better. I do hope that your knees can make it up and down the stairs. The thing about staying away from the computer is tat you end up thinking about it. So, for me I am either thinking about what I could and should be doing on the computer or I am on the computer doing instead of thinking about doing.

Have you taken Celecobix or Naproxen for the knee pain? They help a lot.

@marguicha I've heard of Naproxen, but not Celecobix.
TriFlex isn't a pain reliever. It's a supplement that works on arthritis.

@mlgen1037 Not normally. I did last week because he asked, as he wasn't going to be there while I was there, but not yesterday.

I had a great Sunday myself listening to a rerun on the radio of "America's Top Forty" the 1970s that was hosted by the late Casey Kasem counting down the 40 hit songs from June 26, 1976.

OH Valerie, I'm sorry your knees are so painful. Another good prayer item, for this week:) I have been weaning myself off the computer and it's a lot of hard work! As I'm doing other things, my mind is constantly wondering, what's going on with My Lot and another site I visit. I've heard that it's an addiction, so time away from this keyboard is in order, for me.

I've been thinking about you for a few days now. I'm glad you've surfaced again, or maybe I just haven't seen your posts.
Thank you. I took the walker back to the senior center this morning, and spent a wonderful hour in the pool.
Laundry can be dull, but I usually spend some quality time with my son when I do it at his apartment.
