Self-discipline is necessary for anyone who strives to be successful. Whether is weight loss, writing a book, or starting your own company, it is important to have self-discipline to get the important things done on your daily agenda.
Do you have self-discipline in your daily life? What are some ways you practice self-discipline?

@LPort2017 I try to not procrastinate. Sometimes I force myself to do different things. I say: Now I will do this, no matter what.

Hard to explain practicing self discipline except to say you are good at saying no and resisting and performing tasks and work no matter what no procrastination.

Hi Latisha. Self-discipline when I have to deal about a lot of things. It can be hard sometimes, though.

Yes, I have it most of the time.
But there are days when I let my hair loose and discipline takes a back ride.

I wish I had better self-discipline. Motivation lacks in most everything I do. It wasn't always this way. Without self-discipline my skills to write, to lose weight, to be a better housekeeper and to find a happier lifestyle has gone out the door. It is very easy to get in a rut and all the self help advice in the world won't do a lick of good without the ability to control my own actions. First the need to get back on track has to be something I want badly enough or the rut will rule my future. My give a hoot attitude no longer works well. Perhaps I have too much alone time and too, much time to feel sorry for myself. The good Lord willing I will shake this train of thought and get back into doing the things I love.
