Well in general, I would say they are pretty accurate with the short term forecast..but honestly they said no rain..I was like, yeah right..it was as dark as night..at noon.

@snowy22315 , Nice to know that! May be within few years our people will also try to predict properly!

Just because something doesn't show up on radar, doesn't mean it can't happen.

We had one of those days where it rained all around us while we had sun and blue skies!

I usually take them with a grain since when they mention the future period of the weather they say "We have a possible chance of a shower. I remember the joke of the weather which is "it might rain in one section and another section will be dry."

Yeah, well they are predicting weather in maybe a 200 mile radius so it could rain inb1 percentbof the area and not the othets.

It doesn't always do exactly what the computer models predict.

I'm actually a bit curious why he would say would "not rain no matter how dark it was". Normally the local weather forcast would say, it will rain with the possibility of 10%, so when it indeed sprinkle, it just hit the 10% which is already predicted. What a smart way!!

I don't believe them anymore because weather has really been unpredictable these days.
But I do believe when they say a typhoon is coming. Now that's a different story.

They virtually guarnteed today it would not rain until Weds evening..but I was thinking..it looks like 8PM at noon, surely it will rain..and of course it did..although not a lot.

With a grain. Wrong and exaggerate too many times.

Oh i agree with the exaggeration.. big time! A small rainfall becomes a torrential storm..a small breeze become a major tornado..they are lucky anybody listens to them!
