Pain In My Knee

Hello everyone. The past months, the pain on my left knee is quite bothersome. I cannot sit on the floor, I cannot sit with my left knee filded under me which I usually does before. I know for a fact that it may be because of having gained more weight hence the inactivity. 3 weeks ago when we have a mini unplanned family outing wherein I had to climb three flights of stairs several times because the location of our apartment is at the third floor. Followed by walking everyday because I have to be with my son to and from school. I say the pain in my knee is gone. Though there are times when I cab feel something in my knee. The usual pain is gone and I am happy.

It happens to my right knee time by time. Our home is on three floors, I climb the stairs so many times a day.

Me, I would always feel a pain in my knees, whenever I climb the stairs to the second floor where our office is, in my high heels. Now, I can't feel it anymore. Thanks to MX3, which I am now taking for more than a month. EVen what you mentioned sitting, I can feel so much pain when I stand up from those positions. Now, no more.

@rakski Yes, more activities will help those knees. Though, not those weight producing activities to the knees.

Folding that knee under you may have stretched the ligaments. Walking and the stair climbing activities helps strengthen the muscles and also forces the cushioning fluid into the knee to feel better. Keep it up.

I did not take any medications for this. I just had more activity. I go up and down the stairs in our reunion, the first time the pain is there and since I did that several times in a day, I notice the next day the pain is gone and then now I am walking everyday

I'm glad the pain in your knee is gone. I'm thinking it's all the walking you've been doing in the past few weeks.

@rakski really? then maybe the knee joint pain just needs more exercise aside from your walking to your kid's school?

@rakski glad you are okay now. but is this a woman thing? like is it connected on carrying children and giving away your calcium for their milk? lol

Calcium is for the brittleness of bones. I think it has something to do with gaining weight and inactivity. I used to be more active when I was younger and thinner. lol Probably if I will not do something about it now, it will lead to osteoarthritis or arthritis and I do not like that.

I wouldn't be surprise specially if climbing is mostly good for the young. I think i would have had fear of heights and uric acid coming back all over again.

Glad that it is better now, knee pain can really slow you down. A common knee problem is a torn meniscus that can be determined by an x-ray.

Oh yes, but I do not think in my case is a torn meniscus, probably due to less activity and then gaining weight. Knee is a weight bearing joint so it must have been that
