Those are toxic people, one of the reasons why most depress people keep their mouth shut because there are people who are ignorant, jugemental or they simply dont care. They dont understand the importance of mental health.

Which is why it is so hard for people to get the help they need before it is too late. We need to get rid of the stigma of mental health so people aren't afraid to speak up and let people know there is something wrong and they need help.

I struggle with anxiety and depression and I know how you feel and your not what they say you are. Anxiety is a real thing.

So true. Anxiety is definitely a real thing and it is very frustrating to deal with because anything can cause it to rear it's ugly head.

I do not know what my feelings are too often times, I feel i am generally happy, but there are moments i love to be just overly dramatic on some things, and sometimes i over think things and i do not know if these are anxiety attacks, or if i am feeling an early stage of depression. I get mood swings, and when i see a trigger, i could be so melancholic. I am sure you are feeling some sort of confusion too. I wish you all the best, and let us try to hold on and push through! =)

that's why i tend to listen more and let others talk and even offer advice. because when it's my turn, i just get frustrated and disappointed.

You are not the only person. Many people who don't understand depression and anxiety see those with it as lazy and over dramatic. If someone hasn't experienced it then they think it isn't real. Just ignore people like that because one day they will have something happen and then they will experience what we go through.

Hi @BabyGi, I guess you can try asking them what makes your explanation difficult to understand. Remember, everyone is unique. What's easy for you might be difficult for other. Who knows, what a piece of cake of explanation for you might be really confusing for your audience. Try to know how they feel about your expressing/explaining your feelings, probably it'll help you and your audience have a better communication. ^_^

I have some kind of social anxiety. People have gone to the extent of trying to make me feel guilty for it. But unfortunately for them, I don't play that . I'm pretty sure that strangers view me as stuck up because of my self protective posture and that I try to avoid eye contact with anyone I don't know. Normies can jerks sometimes

It is tough to wake up people who pretend to sleep. Only we know what we go through. This type of attitude makes one bottle up emotions for lack of empathy - siva

I used to go through experiences like this when I was younger. I have been accused of faking anxiety before and I was honestly amazed by how stupid that accusation was. I think many people can be lacking in empathy sometimes.

And my own father doesn't understand. When I tell him that I have panic attacks he laughs.

You are not the only one. I struggle with anxiety and depression. Some people told me it's an imaginary illness.

I've read of a saying about kindness it says, "Be kind you don't know what the person's been going through". I'm a very optimistic person I always try to see the good in bad situations, so if I meet people who has something to share, I listen to them and realized there are things that even words cannot express. They tell you a very simple problem but you can definitely see their struggle in dealing with it. So yeah let's try to "spread kindness like confetti"and eventually they'll give you back the favor.

do not hear what the negative people say about us. Make it all as a whip that makes us progressively and better in the future.
