All Those Questions

I'm not sure how it works in other countries, but when election time comes there are usually state questions up for vote. When Oklahomans went to vote in the primaries this past week (for governor, attorney general, ect..) there was only one state question: whether to legalize medical marijuana. I'm happy to say it passed, although because the language of the bill needs to be worked out it will probably take a year to go into affect. That is common in most bills. I believe Oklahoma will be the 39th state to allow medical marijuana. I don't remember all of the state questions of the past, but I remember one was whether or not to ban cockfighting, which passed. That was probably over 15 years ago.
Are you most likely to vote when state questions are on the ballot? Do you just vote in things like a Presidential elections? My parents stressed voting. If you want good people in office, or at least the lesser of two or three evils, you have to put them in power. I think we have all seen what happens when people don't get out and vote.
This isn't a discussion to bash certain politicians, I am just interested in how you do things.

I even vote on local referendum issues, I think as Americans it is our right and our duty to vote.

@AmbiePam It is a very big deal and if we take it for granted we may lose it.

Since I don't have current ID I don't vote anymore. I can't get out to do a new ID. Here you have to have birth certificate and another form of ID. I don't have either.

Voting is important to me. Normally, I mainly look to see who is winning in my state and then I go on to see which party is winning in other states. With the Justice Kavanaugh issue, I found myself looking at who was running in each party for the various states. We did not have any questions on our ballot this time.
