How Do You Beat The Summer Heat?

Here in Ontario Canada (i live near Toronto) it is about 30 degrees Celsius. I think it went up to around 32 today. Either way it was ho as heck, and very humid. I find in this weather the best ways to beat the heat are to continuously drink cool liquids (I had an iced coffee at Second Cup today), and stay in where it's air conditioned. I spent a lot of time today on buses, in the cafe, and in the grocery store. When I left the grocery store, I didn't feel like lugging all that stuff on a bus, so I took an Uber, which was also air conditioned. We have some gel packs in the freezer that we use to apply to injuries. I am not injured, but it sure felt good to put one of those on top of my head, while I drank a nice cold can of coca cola.
So, how do you stay cool in this hot weather?

Go out to Riverside Park: it should be cooler under the trees. Or just stick your feet in a basin of cool water.
Personally, if I don't think about how hot it is, it really isn't that hot to me.

Stay hydrated by drinking an adequate amount of water and stay home.
