Technology has changed so much in there years.Tube TV was durable and long lasting but very heavy and hard to move. I love the color tube TV but the weight sucked and a lot of people love moving things around in their housing so this wasnt idea for a lot of people. So later on down the line flat screens came out and they was so light weight and so far they seem so durable as long as you dont hit it or abuse it. The question is what do you prefer.

@William21001 Because it is more alive than the Flat screen. At least for me. And a lot of childhood memories. I remember pushing out tube tv because I want to smash the glass.

I am using flat TV now and I have kept two of my Color Tube TVs like that , as I am not going to get anything great if i sell them. in fact they are in very good condition. I have already gifted one TV to a person who couldn't afford one! Thanks!

Tube T.V. is not environment friendly, it contains mercury that is not only toxic to us but poisons the water and the ground. It emits heat, besides consuming far more power power it also makes our ACs work a bit more harder so its LED T.V.for me anytime

I think we have no choice these days as tube TVs are obsolete.
