Is it possible that there could be a right religion? All religions we know of today for the most part stemmed from some ancient beliefs from long ago and due to disagreements, people morph the religion into something else over time, and if we're willing to be honest with ourselves ALL MAJOR religions dont have an original teaching, always copying the beliefs before them from ancient Greek myth to paganism.
And most of these religions have some sort of God. Is there one God? Do all of these Gods exist? If the basis for most religion is having some sort of God, could it be possible that our ancestors knew of something high above? Could there be a creator? Or perhaps something else that is not a God???
What do you all think? hopefully this doesn't provoke any hostile controversy.

I think there's no right religion. We only have one God but we called Him in different names..

The government produces genuine money but then there are many counterfeiters. God teaches us the truth so we have to stick with him. The Bible goes back to the creation of the earth and man.

Its all in faith. If you think there is God, then there is , if you think there is no God, then there is not. People might say you many things about its existence or myths, but its upto whether you like to believe or not.
All the religions in the world teaches you to stay together in love and peace and help each other. If any religions teaches you wrong or bad thing then thats not religions.
its true that different religions have different views and nature but all the messages are same PEACE and LOVE.
Regarding ancestors, they learnt from their ancestors and its been going on and on. So its upto you how you gonna lead your upcoming generations. :) See its all cycle. Its all faith and what we believe. :) No one have right to force you to change your relgions, your faith and your believe. its all you.

Can it be called copying when multiple people are having same emotions and thoughts? Because I think the basis of religion was and is based on bettering the life of human kind in every way possible in accordance to the time, century or millennium a particular religion was established. The evolution of ideas, religion, belief and faith happened as time passed but the basis remained the same.

I think it depends on what people are looking for. Me, I was born Jewish and while I was growing up I was always a proud Jew but rebelled against certain things. I did not really appreciate Judaism until I came to live in Israel. I started a journey here to where I wanted to be Judaism wise. I am very happy with where I ended up on my journey. I am more religious and proud of how far I came. It was a journey and not a fast track. This way I could take my time. I am a proud Jew that can only live in our Jewish Homeland and no where else in the world.

I believe that their is only one universal force which created the earth and everything and this force is what we call God. God is omnipresent means this force is omnipresent. We pray in different forms as per the religion but ultimately we are praying to the universal force aka God

No "right" religion. Its all on our faith on Him. Here is some good read on religion and God
They are not the same thing. Our society, it seems, has become so confused about religion that we don't really seem to understand what a religion is. Because of that, we don't really seem to...
