When Facebook reminded you of someone's birthday / myLot

Facebook reminded me of a friend's birthday today. I was about to type birthday greetings then reality hit me. That friend has already died a few days after her birthday 4 years ago because of breast cancer. She was just in her 40's. She was full of life and looked like she'll live for more years. She was not bedridden but when she was hospitalized for about 2 weeks she did not make it. You forgot a friend has passed away when your last memory of her was someone who is always laughing - a lively, lovely and happy person.

Indeed. It also reminded me that life is short and we must enjoy every moment of it.

I hadn't known that fb does this reminder. I'm sorry to hear about your friend that passed. I've 2 people in my life going through with cancer in their life.

@neelia_lyn How wonderful it would be indeed! My friend, I'd going to be okay, but not my Aunt...she is terminal. Just found out about my friend today and am so happy for him! Thanks.
