The Good and Bad of Yesterday

Starting with the bad, just to get it out of the way. The last room I had a work was a disaster! Trash all over the place. They must have asked for every extra blanket we had, plus all the extra towels. Took me longer than it should have to clean. No, they didn't leave a tip! On the bright side I had my annual review and got a raise! Better than what I was expecting.

A raise is always nice. As for those guests...what gives? I always try to leave the room somewhat tidy. No reason, even if it is part of the service I am paying for, to make the housekeepers have to clean up after a slob.

I've walked into some stays you could barely walk through. They're lucky if they get the beds made sometimes because they have so much junk all over.

Been busy with other stuff. If people had to clean their own rooms they'd probably be neater. Or not. LOL
