These are some which we all face sometimes or the other. But what if some guest keeps staying at your place for many days? How will you tackle this situation?

Hmm. I don't want someone or some relative staying in our house. Why? Because it's small and we cannot cater to more people.

Having guests is not that bad but staying at your place for many days isn't good.

Just ask them how long will they be planning to stay. It's not rude because that's your place and they should be telling you their plans in the first place. If they are staying for a long time already, like 20 days huh, they should be sharing with the expenses.

@amitkokiladitya I understand. Then your choice is to tell them what you feel about it.

Owww you are in a very difficult situation. I have not encountered that because my mom doesn't allow anyone ( strangers or relatives) to live with us in one house. I am just curious, why they keep on staying in your place? what's their business there?

@amitkokiladitya owww I think its hard to tell them to get their own place because they're part of your family already. Maybe if you are very close to your brother maybe you can discuss that thing to him.

She is my sister in law with her son. Her husband is out of the country so she is staying with us and not with her in laws at her house

@amitkokiladitya We have had the same problem once a few years back.I have no solution. The guest stayed in our house for more than 12 days and left only when he received a call saying that he had had a serious trouble at his own.

I don't have such problem because my country is small and guests will rather stay at hotel than my house.

Ph yes. Guess what? I experienced this and wrote a post here with the same title. As for me, it is my mother in law. Wahaha. At very early in the morning. If they are taking a while before gping home, you better ask them straight when do they plan to leave.

Hello, my friend. That is a tough one. I would tell them straight. I am the owner of the house and I have the right to do what I think is necessary.

Pretend to be ill such that you can't even do daily household chores, they might flee thinking they have to help with your duties now.

It will not help. She knows that mother in law is there to cater to her demands
