Yes, I do a lot of freelance work, but mostly on Upwork.
If you can type, that is already considered a skill. I'm sure you are also able to do copy and paste work, which is under data-entry work. If you can write articles, just try writing a few and show your samples on your profile.
So I guess you already have 3 skills there, and you're all set for freelancing work.

I am not a freelancer but I know many people who are and I know how it works. It all depends on your skills on a certain subject, this will make you earn more money.

First, you need to have skills. There are free online courses that you can take. Watch Youtube videos and join freelancing groups. You can be a content writer, data entry specialist, transcriptionist, web designer/developer, social media manager, search engine optimization expert, appointment setter, etc. Pick one that you find most interesting and master it. The competition in the freelancing world is getting tougher each day so you need to have trending skills/right skill set.
