I Bought My First Pumpkin Candle of the Season / myLot

I love autumn fragrances -- so much so that the only candles I ever buy are autumn scents. I stock up on them every fall and then burn them throughout the year. The other day I was happily surprised to see that Michaels already has their fall stuff out. I immediately headed for the candles and started sniffing them. One in particular smelled really good, so I made a mental note to come back for it next time I had a coupon for the store. Today I went back and bought the Cinnamon Pumpkin Cake candle, and scored it for only $5.35 with a 50 percent off coupon (it's regular price is $9.99.) That is a pretty good deal for a 14 oz jar candle. So I guess Halloween season has officially begun for me, although it never really ends...I live for Halloween, and keep some of my fall/Halloween decorations out all year.

Now I'm going to light this candle and enjoy some fall fragrances, while pretending that it's not sweltering hot outside.

I live for Halloween too, and Christmas.. and we always have Christmas stockings up in the livingroom.

. I am kinda surprised they have Halloween stuff out already though, but then again.. stores keep putting Halloween and Christmas stuff out earlier and earlier every year. I'm waiting for Yankee Candle to bring their Christmas candles out. As I need more Christmas cookie (smells like sugar cookies) room fragrance to spray around the house.

Eventually the stores will probably just have the holiday stuff out year round.

Ooh, Christmas cookie smells good! There are some Christmas fragrances I like. I have a spiced apple toddy candle that's a holiday edition, and it smells lovely.

I like the smell of pumpkin and cinnamon, but not during summer. In summer I like fresh scents.

@Srbageldog I love Autumn, but I like to enjoy every season. I would not like the smell of "Christmas" right now and not even the smell of pumpkin spices, it's not appropriate to the hot season.
