I always loved cats but to be honest it took me a while to find the courage and get one. but so far it has been the best decision I ever took. he brings joy to my life every time I come home and there's nothing in this world that would make me give up on him. how about you? I would love to hear stories about your pets

@jaboUK I'm so thrilled with my cat because whenever I come home he jumps in my arms ...i guess this somehow shows he missed me right?

Owning a pet is really a responsibility, you don't just have a pet because they are cute; it's like marrying someone because they are pretty. I'm very happy for you that you already got your own cat. Having a pet is a life changing experience for me, because you are able to take care of some living.

yes you're right...when I took him he wasn't cute at all...imagine the fact that he was born without a tail. anyway he means the world to me even if he might not be the cutest cat around.

@swissheart Real animal lover doesn't look from the outside but the inside. I really admire people like you to love and care for the cat you're having right now. What's his name?
I've read a lot of stories of dogs and cat's who was born without feet or got into a serious accident and lost some parts; it just melts my heart. If ever I will cross some cats or a dog like that, I would love to adopt one.

You know you must be a good person if your cat loves you.

@swissheart Cats are good judges of character. Dogs just love anybody.

@boiboing that's a good one. so if my cat doesn't like being touched by anyone else except me I should be really proud of myself right?

Yes, I think so. Having a pet means you should carey the responsibility of taking care of him/her/it. By doing so, you are a better human, a better individual :)
