He Deserves One or Two Epis

Dear all.
We all do love watching Friends sitcom from years back. In fact, some of the season episodes are still being aired till today, with viewers rooted to the screen. Well, do you guys remember Gunther working at The Central Perk cafe or coffee shop where Monica, Chandler, Ross, Rachel, Phoebe and Joey loved to hang out most of the time?
We all know that he serves as a good comic relief, appearing at the right moments, serving his one-liners in a timely manner and yet he knows just about everyone; our dear friends that is, especially Rachel. However, Gunther has always been in the background, quiet and reserved, but the cafe's episodes won't seem right without his cameo appearances.
Do you all think an episode or two should have been dedicated to him rightly so, as a means to bring his character out to the light; what he thinks, how did he end up working there at the cafe and his real thoughts about our dear Friends.

I know, right?! Finally an answer which satisfies me. I mean this to be as in the serial. They should have expanded his role just a little bit more.

He may have liked remaining as part of the background making a good salary, having health insurance, a good job without the headaches of 'stardom'! I know a few actors like that.

Erm, my question was in context with the story line; like should Gunther get his own 1 or 2 episodes. That's what I meant. Although on the contrary, I'm sure Gunther in real life wouldn't let fame get to his head though.

Friends is a very good comedy series that one can watch all day without tiring. Gunther should have been surely given an episode. I have never thought about this until I read this post.

yes you are right. maybe do a search and find out the story in his real life might put a light on why he didn't get more time in.

@ihasaquestion i know but their real life sometimes causes things to happen. like some just might not want to keep acting in one part. some get better offers or has something in their real life holding them back for another reason.

I'm not fond of friends, even when the season ends, I wasn't very fond of it.
Maybe I'll give it a try since I got netflix.

I have no thoughts, as unlike your statement that we ALL love - I never watched Friends. I don't watch sitcoms, as I really don't like comedy, so I can't tell you whether he should or shouldn't have.

We All meaning those who love watching Friends. Like if there are fruits on the table, you will say "all" the fruits too, no? Thanks for your participation. You should try to watch some in future.

Didn't Rachel work there and he was her boss? I do not miss that show. Sorry, maybe I am the only one but I really do not want to see them again or reunions of them. I just do not miss them.

You aren't a big fan then. A lot have been asking though. Yup, she worked there briefly and that's how Gunther knows more about Rachel.

@ihasaquestion I 'm familiar with it but I never seen it. I've seen Angel, Dark Angel, Buffy the vampire slayer, 24, CSI. But not this one. Guess I'm more into thriller shows.
