I believe there is a certain degree of greed in every human being in this world (including me,of course! LOL ). Do you agree with me? Do you think you are a greedy person at times? Please be honest in giving your answer .

This is a hard one because the majority of people are greedy for something, although it might not necessarily be for themselves. I will admit to being a greedy person, but my greed is not for money but for the happiness of my family and special friends. We are not rich by any means but we do have a bed to sleep in, a roof over our heads, clothes to keep us decent, something to keep us warm, food to eat and clean water to drink. In addition to that we have the love for each other and our son, as well as our special friends. I do not think that a person can ask for anymore than that, and many people in this world do not have even half of these things that we have. Of course when we were younger we had different aims in life to what we have now. Then we were more money driven, thinking that it was one of the most important things that we could have. So of course we also wanted it, based on the implied importance of money, which meant that we certainly were greedy. However, at some stage we realised that the health and happiness of our loved ones was much more important. If they do not have health and happiness, there isn't much change for them to have a very successful life. There are many people our age and older who still think money is very important and that is their choice. I would say that they have not experienced the shock of losing or almost losing someone very dear to them. That is when the priorities change, or at least it did in our case. We do personally know people whose life revolves around how much money they made today and what they can do to make more tomorrow. So, I agree that I am greedy sometimes, but not for money but rather for things that are much more important to me than that. :)

Thanks very much for giving me best response for this discussion asimo. You keep on doing things as you have been and you will attain all that you want, because you are still young enough to do that. But at the same time, love and care for your family and special friends, and most importantly, leave some time to enjoy life. :)

ossie, thanks for your response, I really enjoyed reading it. Yes, just as my discussion said there is certain degree of greed in human being. You are right that not everyone's greed for money but for me majority are. I am from a poor family and once dont even have a basic thing for a house but now I have all the basic household neccessities,so I am greatful but yet I still have a little greed to have more money :-) and of course I will work even harder to earn this extra money legally.
