Some of the plants I have at home loves an acidic and alkaline soil. One of the Alkaline loving soil plant I have is lavender. Yesterday I was cleaning my metal kettle, I think it's an aluminum one. There is this white residue that was sticking on the walls and bottom inside. It's like a chalky sediments that seems accumulated for quite a while now. Some hardened and some can be removed easily. I decided to put it in a container and can tell it's quite a handful already. I wonder, can I feed my alkaline loving soil plants with this thing? I have read somewhere online about this so long ago but couldn't recall anymore. Is there anyone who tried this before? And what are some homemade natural plant fertilizers you can recommend?
