Investing in the stock market

I have jumped into something I know very little. And we all know that going into something which you are not particularly informed will cost you a lot when it comes to investing. The stock market is a good place for people who want to earn more. They can be investors, or traders. For me, I wanted to be a trader but since I picked the wrong stock, and its price now is going down, I turned out to be an investor. I dont want to cut loss because I am willing to wait till it bounces back. Now I am waiting for a perfect time to sell the stock and pick the best one. Anybody here who is into stock investing? How did you start and what happened to you during the early days of your stock investing?
