Sleeping Paralysis

One morning, I woke up in a very weird way. I could not move like I was really disabled; I could not speak and when I try to-- nothing came out on my mouth. I tried to get up once, but the bed is pulling me back. I was like "what the hell is happening to me?". I notice that my vision is very blurry like I was on a dream. I started to think that I was really still dreaming because the surrounding felt unreal even if I'm in my room and lying on my bed. I saw my brother and my mother just passing on my bed. I tried to scream for help but there's no voice coming out from my mouth. I just moved my leg as fast as I can and suddenly I really woke up for real. I confirmed that I was really dreaming. This happened to me in continuous days, until I decided to search it on the net. Then I found out, what is happening to me is actually "Sleeping Paralysis". Where your physically asleep but mentally awake. That's why you can't speak, you can't move and you can't get up-- because your body is not conscious. I even read the worse cases than mine where they see creatures or hearing a creepy and rude voice while they're experiencing it. The good news is I'm not experiencing it anymore, I hope not anymore. Described by the many, Sleeping Paralysis is like living a death experience; a real worst nightmare when you're sleeping. There are some cases too that some people died while experiencing it. But those people I know who died because of sleeping paralysis has a heart problem. Have You experienced something like this too?

I have experienced it really when you want to wake up and you don't know how. That's what it makes more frightening. I'm really afraid of what if I can see scary monster while I'm in the dream. Are you still experiencing something like this until now?

Yes. I experienced it one time when I was in college. I You feel like you are in a cocoon and your body is wrap by clothe that you cannot move. I prayed, prayed and prayed until I eventually woke up.

It's really scary as hell, especially when it's your first time and you don't know what is happening. Have you seen something in your dream?

Yes, I experienced it once when I was a Kid and I never told about this in my family as they would have started making jokes and fun of me. We were four siblings and two cousins staying at my place at that time who were very naughty!

@AKRao24 That's nice, I remember my fun childhood experience too. Cousins and sibling are the best to spend time in childhood years.

@Jessabuma That was really scary. I never imagined that would happen to me. I'm just glad I didn't see any monster while I'm dreaming. It is really helpful that we should pray always before we sleep.

Don't sleep immediately when you are too much tired from work and your stomach is very full after eating. This can trigger sleeping paralysis. Relax your body first. And don't wake up too much late. I guess the reason I had it because of sleeping too much-- more than the hours recommended.
