If I can just make it through July...

This month I have to renew my driver's license, get an emissons test for the car, get license plates renewed. I have already paid for the next 6 months of auto insurance. I am tense because I don't know if I can pass the driver's license eye test. I am also tense because I'm always afraid of the emissions test, although I have no reason to think the car might not pass. The cost of license plate renewal almost tripled a couple of years ago, so there's that. I don't know how it all happened to pile up on this month, but it did and it's all the kind of things that I hate to do. If I can just get through the next few weeks, I can relax. Do you ever feel like that? Or do you ever have things come at you all at once?

Yes things do happen all at once sometimes and it is stressful Peavey. I hope it all comes out fine for you. I too would worry about eye test even tho I now have prescrip glasses for the eye test. That reminds me, they do not send out reminders anymore that I know of so I have to look at my license to check Hope it all goes well.

They don't send out reminders here either. I have been dreading this license renewal for about a year. I have macular degeneration in one eye and the doctor says I can pass the test with one eye okay. I still worry!

Yes, I have, and hope you get through the driver's eye test. I worried about that one last year when I had to renew my license. I have cataracts and almost couldn't read the chart.

I did make it through the driver's eye test, but she wasn't too happy about it. At first she asked if I could get a doctor's note, then when I told her I was taking treatments, she said okay I couldn't see anything on the left side of the chart due to the macular degeneration. But I got it for 5 more years. I don't drive much and that only close by so I am familiar with the streets and so on.

Thanks. These are things that I can't schedule, they come at their appointed time.

Things happen with my car all at once too - I've just had to tax it for the year, now it's insurance and M.O.T are due.

I sympathize! There should be a way to space these things out.

Yes, sometimes many things come at me all at once. The problems don't come alone. I wish you good luck.

Thanks! It does seem like things hit all at once or maybe I just put them off until I can't any more?
