I was sipping my coffee when my aunt came inside our house. She ask me and my mother if we are going to town, to buy her daughter's medicine. We said we are staying home today because of the high tide and some rains. And then they started talking about my cousins' condition, she have a fever again. That was the time when my grandfather butted in, he said that they shouldn't say some nasty of hurtful words to their daughter because it will also affect her health. And then she defended herself and said she changed and is not saying such things anymore. It was the summary of their discussion and planning to tell the other parts. She eventually left our house mad. She couldn't take those words from my grandfather.

It is a shame that relatives cannot live together in harmony.

This is the first time I think that he dared to speak out. He don't want to start a problem to our family.

It is something that we don't like to see but impossible not to have. Just communicate well so we can prevent it.

You will find disagreements in any family. I hope they make up.

There are no reconcilation but I think they are civil. They don't talk that often anyway.

Good to know that your brothers are always there for you. I hate knowing that some mothers have to behave that way.

Me too, I thought Mother's should care more whether they are already an adult.

I don't feel happy when my relatives have misunderstandings as such. I hope everybody have enough patience to accept others behavior and to exercise gentleness in actions and words when dealing with or saying what they think and feel.

Sometimes when they have enough for that day, they can't behave properly or talk in a nice way.

Your grandfather is your aunt's father?
So your grandfather was defending his grandchild (your cousin) from ridicule?

It is my mom's father. He was speaking out on what he think is right. My auntie is really talking kinda harsh to my cousin sometimes.

i think your aunt should not be that irrational answering back your grandfather, but then again, i do not know what nasty things she was saying againt her daughter, according to your 'lolo'.
