Do you have a favorite charity?

I would say Friends of Animals is my favorite because most of their donations go to the animals..however, I usually end up putting spare change in the Humane Society collections. My favorite human charity is no doubt St. Judes Hospital, as no child should suffer and die with cancer in my opinion. If you are going to make a substantial donation it is best to check out how much of the donation goes to the charity in question..as many just put them in their advertising budget. If it is not too personal, what charities do you like?

I favor animal charities over human ones..because although some people are super sadly most are not.

@snowy22315 On the other hand i favour humans but i have a problem with those who pretend they are in need when they actually are not

I like to donate to S. Judes too and also another favorite of mine is the Maryknoll Fathers who are missionaries.

More and more of them are that way everywhere I think..but some animals just can't be placed for one reason or another.

At the moment I only send St.Judes money, however, I also favor the diabetes association.

i like the Humane Society but I read that only about 1 percent of the donations go to shelter pets. Not sure..if that is the same in ever county and every state. I know the Human Society here is very devoted to animals.

I just am an animal lover..and I hate to see any of them suffer. This county where I currently live is very dedicated to animals..and any strays are immediately picked up and sheltered and or adopted.
