A short walk benefit more than long walk
Short walk for 15minutes is very beneficial. If you do this four times a day
Walking 15 minutes a day four times will burn as many calories as walking for an hour.
This may benefit you in longer walk.
As for me I take the 15 minutes walk.Very happy doing this if able every day.
I am not looking for weight loss, but it does make me feel good about myself.
Lots of them walk for hours and hours. You still get the same with the short walk
No one but four. Can you do this.

I just saw an article today about losing weight in 21 days by walking starting at 15 minutes at a time. My problem is that I use the treadmill in my home and can't seem to stop at 15 minutes if I'm not hurting. And because of that I do result in a lot of pain later on. And it's not because I'm not used to the exercise. I have fibromyalgia - chronic pain and fatigue. I have been extremely tired lately, not sleeping well, and just haven't had the energy to get on that treadmill... or do anything else for that matter.

It's too hot for me to go out walking even for a short one. I try to walk as much as I can around the house to get in those much needs steps. When it gets cooler out then I'll head out doors.

I walk up to an hour every morning. I frequently walk or just call it pacing around the house while watching TV.

I usually only walk in the pool, bad knees and all but I used to love my walks.

@amadeo , It is good to walk. I sometimes come up with new ideas when I take time to take a little walk. I will be walking all over Walmart in the next few days. It's been raining cats and dogs lately.

I walk daily with my friends and usually for 4-6 mile fast-paced walks. My son and I take fast walks, but my husband and I seem to take moderate walks together. I feel as if I'm dragging him, since we hold hands. LOL! I find them invigorating, but love the gym much more now. I will continue doing both. Glad you walk for health, too!

When it comes to exercise some is better than none I had a friend who told me you have to keep moving or else your health might eventually be affected. So, I take that to heart and try to find time to exercise most days.

@dgobucks226 as long as you keep moving and not sitting too many hours.
