If you had only two options what would you prefer? You could only work at a job that pays really good but you don't love what you're doing and it can depress you. Or You could only work at a job that pays lower than average but you feel really good about it and really love what you're doing. I think we here to enjoy life. If we suffer and feel regret for what we're doing that's not enjoyment. It's living like a machine. I would choose to live happily and enjoy my life doing what i love.

For me, i will choose the first option. I will do sacrifice myself for my family if this is just the only way i can make to give them a better support and give what they want to have in life. It's a way much practical over the second option.

the second option doesn't mean that you will live in a cabin in the woods and will have to go hunt for food. simply that you won't live in a big house and a have Ferrari. You'll live in a simple house, have enough for food and education but let's say... you won't buy a car for every kid. And you will be happy! You'll have a purpose and enjoy every second of your time

@Ntan822 yeah exactly! So, what's for you if my purpose is to do sacrifice for my family to give them a desirable and comfortable life. Sometimes, we really need to sacrifice ourselves for our loved ones. Besides, how can we know that we really choose the work we love where in fact at the first place during interview if we're hired first thing we ask is how much is the salary for this job? Ofcourse we choose the job with a higher salary in short. You cannot even directly identify if you really love that certain job assinged to you unless you show some interest to your job. Love your work and you'll never get tired and depressed what you're doing.Simple as that.

I prefer the second ones. I just resign from my job because the environment not good for my health.too much pressure, officemate not help at all,to many bos,and quite far away from my home

We don't need to suffer and danger our health for money. What's the point? if we'll stay than we simply gonna use the money to fix problems that the job brought on us! I think you did the right thing. Wish you a good luck finding the right place for you!

It would depend upon salary and benefits. The higher they are the more tolerance.

Do you mean the higher it is the more likely you will "sacrifice" and will choose the job that you don't love?

would it be easy to wake up every day with depression? To feel trapped and not fulfilled? We owe our lives to ourselves first!

I would take the job that has the highest pay. I am very used to sacrificing my happiness. And I always make a way to make things livable or desirable.

I don't think it's a way to live. I wish you a happy life forward on and to make good choices for you.

I will choose the second one if and only if the salary can support my family.

of course. it's not like you gonna be homeless. simply won't be able to buy pretty much useless materialistic things. you will live with respect. simply won't go to the movie theater every week.

ABsolutely work for low pay and love what I am doing. Because that is what I am doing right now. I don't get paid for my webcomic, but I love doing it.
